Trips to Norman Island Breath sails to two of the choicest snorkel
spots in all of the British Virgin Islands—the Treasure Caves
of Norman Island and the spectacular snorkel and dive site known
as “the Indians.” The Indians consists of four towering
pinnacles of rock rising from the crystal clear waters just off
of Norman. |

The
Caves, several large, partially-submerged caverns cut into Norman’s
towering seaside cliffs, were the site of a legendary pirate treasure
find in 1904 by a local fisherman, and Norman itself is reputed
to have been the inspiration for Robert Louis Stevenson’s
classic Treasure Island. Both of these sites have been designated
as underwater preserves by the British Virgin Islands and are noted
for their magnificent grottoes, walls of coral, and abundance of
colorful fish.
